Mission


It shall provide adequate, high quality and efficient medical and dental services in order to achieve and maintain optimum health and wellness of the entire MMSU populace.

Goals and Objectives


  1. To have an efficient health monitoring system in the university.
  2. To be able to diagnose, manage and treat acute and chronic non admissible cases.
  3. To maintain a complete medical/dental file for students, faculty, and staff.
  4. To function as health promotion and prevention center.
  5. To continuously improves competency of medical/dental clinic staff to optimize their role as health care guardian.
  6. To make the university clinic more productive

Policies


  1. The clinic is open from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm except Saturday’s, Sunday’s and Holidays
  2. Identification card is needed prior to consultation
  3. The order of patients to be consulted is the first come first serve basis except in cases of emergency
  4. Consultations and treatment should be done at the clinic except in cases of emergency
  5. Free medicines shall be given only after consultation was done depending upon the supply on hand
  6. In case of medicines for travel, or fieldtrips, a request duly signed by the head of travelling party is needed.
  7. Medical certificate must only be issued upon personal request by the patient after consultation “No consultation, no medical certificate”
  8. Payment of twenty pesos to the cashiers office is needed prior to issuance of medical certificate
  9. Every patient seen in the clinic must have a complete medical and dental file
  10. Confidentially is maintained on medical and dental records
